Chizik was 5-19 before Auburn, Bielema is 68-24.

He's 68-24 at Wisconsin, 3rd straight Rose Bowl. Slightly better than 5-19 at Iowa State.

You Hogs are idiots. I'm not saying it's a homerun hire, but this is far form a Chizik situation.
I actually think if he can surround him with a decent staff of recruiters he can have success. He better not hire a single recruiter who doesn't have some past history in Texas or Louisiana and just recruit the frick out of those states. There's enough OL in Texas to staff 10 programs, and he can still get the top notch Midwestern OL with the reputation he has up there.
I'd give it a B- grade.

It will be interesting to see how things work out for a BIG coach in the SEC. His record is pretty solid, but he's going into the toughest division in college football.
I think you have to take a wait and see approach with him.
