I'm usually positive about things like this and thats great and all but problem is we lost two out of the three most important ones and the one we won didn't matter.

And 3 of those 5 losses were probably to the National Champion that year. The other 2 were to a #8 finishing Arkansas in 2010 and possibly a #2 finishing Florida this year.

Losing to the eventual national champion every year is no consolation. We are supposed to be an elite program and elite programs wins championships when the going is good. This is supposed to be the golden era of LSU football and I can't help but think we've let at least one NC, possibly two, get away from us. So close yet so far every year. Damn frustrating.

The going is good for a lot of teams that happen to play much weaker competition and still don't have much to show for it. It sucks playing the schedule that LSU plays and being in the same division as a future hall of fame head coach. And yes, LSU is an elite program.

True... But that's because we happen to be in the same Division as Alabama.
2010 they went 11-2 Auburn was14-0.
2011 they went 12-1
2012 they are 12-1 with BCSCG to play.
They are 35 - 4....and have 1 SEC championship .... They must suck????
Your point about SEC championships only proves just how difficult winning it is?
How many wins does UGA have the past 3 years? And how many SEC championships?
