What's your favorite teal recipe?

Have some whole birds. Thought about roasting them? I normally cook em down and make a gravy. What says the OB?

That. As a side dish, get some canned yams. Drain and rinse them, then pat dry with some paper towels. Fry them in hot earl till they start to Carmlize, then spinkle with some brown sugar. Had this with some teal for Thanksgiving. They were great!

Split back, season skin then cover with yellow mustard. Cook on low in pot for 1 to 1.5.

Go to the Food Board's Recipe Book and look at the Duck Ville Platte. Cut the cook time to 2 to 2.5 hours. You'll like it...a lot.

Stuffed with sausage sounds good -

Have had some out of a crawfish pot before - actually pretty good

My next duck cook will be duck and greens

Brown them for a little while.

Put breast down in big pan.

Cook for 2 hours on 325

Take out, put back in pot and let them cook down for about 20 more minutes with the drippings and a little water.

Cook some rice.

Good lord is there anything better than rice and gravy - and gravy is from a good source? Man I could go rice and gravy for a last meal on death row
