I am not a fan of Bowl games and they are all meaningless to me. The Bowl games selection process, however, if not forced by rules; becomes a beauty contest and the good old solid criterion of eyeball test applies. If Miles doesn't want to abandon his offensive philosophy (that many Tiger fans abhor regardless of final outcome)then he had better win every damn game in order to get to the final destination by rules and take it out of the voters hand. If he expects to (or has a want) end up in more desirable Bowl games he had better change his offensive mentality.
As for unfair scheduling, everyone associated with LSU football has to object to stop it. BTW, I am not criticizing Miles and I think Miles is one of the best head coaches and certainly the best coach for LSU.

In two of S. Carolina's last four games they beat UT by 3 and was tied with Wofford in the 4th Q.

The SEC allows the bowls to choose who they get. OTOH, the Big 10 tells the bowls who is coming.

LSU will always get screwed; especially with more competition for the Cotton Bowl.

Absolutely. To hell with all this "run, run, run" crap. Air it out on every down. Run Statue of Liberty plays, and double or triple reverses with a pass/lateral option. Block with 5 guys and put 5 in the pattern. Be Oregon. Just one thing--better join the PAC 12.

Then shouldn't LA Tech be playing in Miami?

Maybe the worst 2nd post ever..

You do realize LSU won 2 titles, and Bama could win 3 with pretty much the same philosophy on offense.

How many does Oregon have? Texas Tech? Boise State?

I'll wait..

Maybe LSU should relocate to Dallas or Orlando. That might help us get selected in those games

you just continually post retarded shite over and over. you want Miles to change his offensive philosophy so LSU can get into a better bowl? Any thoughts to the idea that we may end up in WORSE bowls due to that new offense?

how about we just stick with what we are doing. play great D, run it down their throats. 23-3 over the past 2 seasons aint bad. pretty damn impressive all things considered.

the more i think about it, the more i think you and others miffed about the peach bowl are overreacting. and yes, i was miffed too yesterday. the cap 1, cotton and peach are equivilant bowls and frankly, i much prefer atlanta to dallas. AND, if you check our roster recruiting in georgia and the carolinas is and has been more important to LSU for several years now. yes, we sign tejas guys a lot but there really haven't been that many that have been that good (lately). and we play in jerry world next year once again.

the unfair scheduling, however, burns my posterior. no way, over a two yr period should LSU get 4 top ten east div. teams and bama get zero. that's absurd and patently favors the evil empire.

You are not a good reader and emotional. They ended up in top 2 BCS standing and therefore the rule applied.

no, no they arent.

cotton
cap 1

peach

cotton bowl is on a night by itself, and played in THE premier stadium. it will also be one of the "BCS" bowls once the 2014 playoffs begin.

Mehhhh..... The "location" of a bowl game has ZERO impact on recruiting... No ATL kid is going to pick up the phone and call Les after spurning him for two years because you play there this month.... About the only bowl that matters in recruiting is a BCS game but even they don't get you a leg up with that city's local kids....

You are probably right. Look at the prestige bowls that Baylor(Holiday), TCU(Buffalo
Wild Wings and Boise(Las Vegas) are going to. Thanks for pointing that out to us.

A&M had priority over LSU in Capital One and Cotton and the reason is their offense is fun to watch. Yes, Manziel is a part of offense. Don't be stupid read what the original message is saying. Did it say regardless of your record and conference you will go to a good Bowl game if your offense is sexy?

you realize that if OU was in the Sugar Bowl, Texas would be in the Cotton bowl vs LSU right?
