The guy who saw it fit to relieve Alabama of playing Georgia, put UGA on LSU's schedule and replaced UGA with Kentucky for Bama is (wait for it...) an Alabama graduate.

I think LSU lucked out a bit by going to Georgia instead of making the return trip to USC. But I'm glad we get State at home over y'all!

And they can afford a loss to us with their ludicrous conference schedule. We have no margin for error. We have to run the table with UF on our schedule.

Not true. Beat Bama, regardless of the UF loss, and we were in the SECCG. Even if Bama beats a&m, we still play UGA.

Seems to me the trick is beating Bama no matter how soft their schedule is.

All of this must stop with a playoff coming. The playoff will start at four teams, but that will only whet the appetite of the paying fan. It will certainly grow in time.

The SEC needs to clean up its politics soon.

A lot of SEC refs also have direct ties to Bama in some shape or form, down to one even having a "Bama" room in his house where he has been presented "thank you's" from the University itself for displays he can put in his room.

I agree with this 100%, just look at the hit #90 put on Georgia's QB right in front of the refs.

OP: please add these to the OP if you don't mind:

Enough is enough... the SEC is about to feel the wrath of one of its premier program

not surprising from the sec and why i wouldn't be against leaving

I'm starting to think the B12 makes more and more sense(conditional on UT getting its act together on revenue sharing of course).

I think LSU would fit great in the Big XII.

You must be new to LSU football or were out of the country last year.

Too bad a founding SEC member wouldn't be caught leaving now.

So what? If it comes down to Bama and LSU having one loss, LSU will win by strength of schedule in the BCS.

Were you in a coma last season?

i think we would fit pretty well in the big 12. I know texas has a bama type control of that conference but I believe we could over come it since ou seems to have no problem steam rolling them yearly.

It is BS but it's not like UGA won't be rotated out of out schedule then into Bama's eventually.

This is a bridge year.

No bearing on future scheduling.

They skipped forward not one, but two opponents on Bama's standard rotation....which coincidentally is the second worst team in the East.

less focus on leaving the SEC.
more focus on making SEC explain themselves.
this needs momentum.

That was a legal, if brutal hit. It was right after an interception and Murray was moving towards the ballcarrier, not paying attention, and he got blocked, hard.

Once a QB throws an interception he isn't protected anymore.

Totally agree...I have no desire to leave the SEC, but some of this shite is getting ridiculous.

Stuff like this and the terrible officiating is why I've pretty much stopped caring about college athletics.
