Does this guarantee an LSU appearance?

Pretty sure it will be Jerry jones' decision.

I can easily see cap one picking an LSU/ mich matchup though.

Texas doesn't deserve it and A&M deserves a better matchup

I don't see Cap One passing on Johnny Football or that very excited Aggie fanbase

Pretty sure it won't. Jerry Jones has nothing to do with the Cotton Bowl. Why do people keep saying this?

Do you think Tom Benson has a say in who is playing in the Sugar Bowl?

This.

After KState hands them their 4th loss, it'll knock them out of the running.

If Kent State sneaks into a BCS bowl, it'll be Oklahoma in the Cotton.

I figure its pretty close to done that a&m ends up in cap1. I say if bama wins the sec it'd be a&m to cap1, lsu to cotton and Uga to outback. Though if Uga wins, maybe bama to cap1 but only if Michigan isn't in it. So perhaps lsu to outback and cotton gets bama v tex. I'd love an lsu v mich matchup.

I wouldn't say "decision", but you know he is going to stick his nose in it like he does for everything else.

Tom Benson doesn't own the Superdome. Nothing happens in Jerry's World without him having a say.

If K. St and Okla both go BCS...who goes to Cotton from the Big 12 over Texas?

Where do you people make this stuff up from? I guarantee you Jerry Jones has ZERO say about what happens in the Cotton Bowl. He probably gets paid money for the use of his stadium and that is it.

A&M to Cap 1 is all but a lock. They have 1st pick of the non BCS bowls.

Do you know anything about Jerry Jones?

I'm not saying he will make the final decision, but he will definitely get some input.

Don't assume Bama to the Cotton. They've already played one game in Dallas this year and LSU is closer. You also have to figure in the "let down" factor. The gumps won't be too fired up about travelling to the Cotton when they were planning on Miami. LSU would be thrilled to get the Cotton over the Chicken Bowl.

If it's OSU on the other side, LSU would be an intriguing matchup. LEs vs. his old team, plus the matchup that we SHOULD have had for the MNC last year.

Of course, there's the potential that the Cap One could take Bama and A&M would drop to the Cotton. BUT, if it's Michigan on the other side in the Cap One, would they really want to set up a Bama/Michigan rematch? I don't see the Cap One passing on A&M either way.
