uh, So Car will not replay Clemson in the Chick bowl. They just played in their last game. Also, a 10-2 team will not fall to the Gator. You dont think LSU will, so dont think So Car will.

Bama win gets
A&M to Cap One
UGA to Cotton
USCe to Outback
LSU to Peach

Pretty sure it won't. Jerry Jones has nothing to do with the Cotton Bowl. Why do people keep saying this?

Jerry Jones will stick out his hand for the facility rent check from the Cotton Bowl corporation and that is it .. he could give two fricks about who plays in the game or how much miller lite they sell ..

Texas is going to the Cotton Bowl if OU goes BCS.

Who would be chosen ahead of them? Okie State? Texas beat them. TT screwed themselves losing to Baylor. And too little, too late for Baylor. Plus they lost to Texas.

I can easily see cap one picking an LSU/ mich matchup though.

Miles said he "would not look forward to" a michigan matchup in his presser the other day. I don't suppose he has veto power, just relaying what he said.

This would be great. My final exam for my students at Michigan would include a question asking them to predict LSU's margin of victory. Correct answers get an automatic "A".

The Cotton Bowl won't take an 8-4 Texas team (assuming they lose tomorrow to K. State)

I know probably most folks want to go to the Cotton instead of the Peach, but wouldn't it be great if Bama lost in the SEC champ. game, and AGAIN in their bowl game?? Just a random thought that entered my mind.... Carry on.

I was told by the AD's office at A&M that we are going to the Cap 1 Bowl. This was on Wednesday.

There wasn't a maybe or might, it was a firm "we are"...

Do you think Tom Benson has a say in who is playing in the Sugar Bowl?

Yes.

As long as LSU doesn;t end up playing Clemson or Michigan, I can live with the other options. Bama losing 2 game to finish the season would be excellent on all levels.

Not likely.

Bama win sends LSU to Cotton. I think A&M is a lock for the Capital One due to the Texas politics. Capital One gets first choice and they'll take A&M. Georgia will fall to the Outback.

Now if Bama loses, LSU is relegated to Chick Fil A since Cotton will take Bama.

Maybe the Big XII doesn't want to get embarrassed by JFF and have the Aggies do the SEC chant over their dead carcass.

JJ does not own Cowboy Stadium, the City of Arlington does. He owns the NFL team who is the primary tenant.

No, Jerry owns it, Arlington provided $325 million and the NFL provided $150 million and Jerry provided the rest of the $1.15 billion.

Regardless of all this....Jerry Jones has ZERO say in who goes to the Cotton Bowl, no matter of who owns the damned stadium.
