LSU would be stupid to let Les Miles go

we have been successful since the day he arrived and compete for the SEC and the NC every year in the toughest league in the land. football revuenues are at an all time high and the program is very stable. we are an "item" on the national stage. to upset that success would be insane and contrary to a few dumbasses on here would piss lots of LSU fans off big time. messing with success would be aleva's quickest path to getting fired and TAF contributions going south.
give the man a raise. he deserves it. show him we love him.

People think we can do better. It's not bad to think that, but the risk/reward isn't worth it.
Not many coaches better than Les. Plus, as you can tell with the coaching change in 05.. This recruiting class will blow up due to the large number of OOS kids. I still think the 05 class was the reason for our down year in 08

If Alleva allows Miles to leave, then in my opinion his arse should just save us all the trouble and start packing himself.

no question about it. saban left us in a lurch recruiting wise, a fact that many conveniently forget. we also had some xtra OL attrition that hurt us in '08 and '09. while saban was great for our program he was not the messiah and he knew he was going to leave and dropped the recruiting ball. miles inherited that lost class and frankly it took miles a year or two to get up to sec speed (just as it takes most others) when taking over a new club.

I'm cool with Miles staying. I think LSU should retain him. No way should he receive a raise though.
