LSU has "played" in 4 NC games in its entire history....Miles has been in 2 of them and these idiots want him gone. It's baffling
On one he got lucky and backed in to with 2 wins because the chips fell our way. This has never happened in the history of the BCS. The other he laid an egg and embarrassed the coaches, players and university. There's more than one way to look at it.

Max you can admit we need to keep him. We cant afford to bring in a new coach with the little possibilities there are out there now and the state off our program. One slip up in that coaching decision and we are fighting for 3rd in the west instead of SEC championships for a while

I don't want him gone. However, I'm not worried if he goes because I think there are other coaches out there as good or better.

Les won't have the mountain of talent at Arkansas that he has at his disposal at LSU. You can't waste talent at Arkansas and you better be a damn good Xs and Os coach.

Miles is not a very good Xs and Os coach. What he does at LSU will not work for him at Arkansas.

Nutt and Petrino were both as good or better coaches than Miles and neither won an SEC championship in 15 years at Arkansas. The idea that Miles would win one quickly (within 5 years) there is indeed laughable.

Nutt was indeed a horrible recruiter. Petrino is not a great recruiter. Thats not the point I was making.

The point is both were as good if not better Xs and Os coaches which allowed them to do more with less talent. It helped compensate for the lack of talent that they had to work with at Arkansas.

So we're holding it against Les that he's a better recruiter than them? Also, Arkansas had some really good classes under Nutt. McFadden/Jones/Jones was a VERY talented team.

Not at all. One of Les' best attributes is that he is indeed a good recruiter.

However, it will be very difficult for him to recruit at Arkansas because there is a significantly less amount of talent available to him. He has a big advantage coaching in the fertile grounds of Louisiana.

Nutt and Petrino were successful at Arkansas by doing more with less. Being good game planners and game coaches allowed them to compensate for the problems of recruiting associated with Arkansas. They maximized their talent. Even so, they never won a championship.

Les is simply not a very strong Xs and Os coach. He does less with more. He will have to be a much better coach at Arkansas than he was at LSU to win a championship in Fayetteville.

bullshite. It will be BS every time you say it. He has done MORE than Saban at LSU. He did MORE than Nutt. He did MORE than Petrino. He has done MORE than almost every coach in college football.

And that other time within that 5 year span he got the ever loving holy shite beat out of him.

Worst coaching fail I have ever witnessed in football...on any level.
