Diarse threw for a career-high 327 yards on 8-of-17 passing, averaging nearly 41 yards per completion.

Two or three pass inteference calls were made against VC. He could have added 60-70 yards to that total.

This kids football IQ is off the charts. Not only has he started since his freshman year he has probably been their best player everyone of those years. I know people do not agree with this but I really hope he plays safety. This kid would be the perfect center fielder for our defense. He would be an incredible ballhawk.

Has he played much defense this year? I know he was a bad arse @ wr his freshman year but he has pretty much been the QB since his sophomore year and he used to play both ways but it seems they dont play him on defense much any more.

I was @ the game friday night and it seemed every pass he threw he was going long lol. He had 2 60+ yard touchdowns on short passes that the WR just broke up (1 when the half ended and one later.)

I'm surprised he got 90 yards rushing. I was more excited to see his running capabilities but it seemed he only got a few 5 yard gains here and there and 1 10 yard scamper for a touchdown. I guess I missed a good run he had.

Not really. Haven't really needed him this year. Neville is usually up 3 or 4 TD's at the half.

Y'all should relax. The kid will be in class as an early enrollee. I talk to he and his dad multiple times a week as they work for me calling football games. This kid is set and according to his dad, if you ever saw the inside of his room you would've known where he was going a long time ago. He even did a card for me to send out as a little motivation for some of the younger kids in my league and he was dressed from head to toe in LSU gear. He even had on P&G shoes.

He hit Turpin on the fly with the ball in the air for 30-35 yards in the 3rd. You must have missed that one too.

The DB interfered with 3 long passes b/c he knew he was beat and didnt want to give up the TD.

I agree with this. I think Safety is his spot.

He hasn't played much on defense. On offense he has over 2500 yards, 1111 rushing. 19 rushing TD's 17 passing. Only 5 turnovers

I think he can play S and well, actually may end up there if Cutrer doesn't get in but I'm a firm believer that Diarse belongs at WR. Special with the ball and is a natural WR in every way.
