Well, they'd still have to play Georgia. No pushover.

Ware Cat play, IMO. If he could have checked down and tossed wide to Ford we'd be going to atlanta this week. FWIW, I don't blame Ware, but the coaches for that obviously predictable call.

If I had one play back it would be that one. Of course it way to oversimplified to chalk up the season to one play.

I understand your point -- but it really doesn't come down to 1 play.

We stop Yelton -- beat Bama -- and the rest plays out the same --- we go to Atlanta.

But think of this --- OBJ doesn't run that punt back or we don't get back to back sacks vs. Ole Miss and we lose that game?

or, Arky completes that last pass for a TD, goes for 2 and makes it.... or rather than kick the FG from the 1 --- they go for a TD and score....

Many ways we could have 4 losses ---- just as easily as we could have just 1, or maybe 0 losses.

It's not just 1 play though -- it's a full season and every week and every team is different the week you play them.

I try to NOT blame players ...BUT, Copelands PF on a great drive down to the 10 yard line against Bama WAS A HUGE game changer.

Yeah, that was "unfortunate" to say the least...

This is the only part of your post that I agree with.

No way to know what happens if LSU beats Bama. Could have followed up with a loss to MSU, Ole Miss or Arkansas. Way too simplistic view.

truth....your season can hinge on three to four plays. OBJ getting stripped late at florida was one that cost us also. you've got to give credit to the other guys for making the plays when they had to. we could not, for whatever reason, and as my dad would say...."that's all she wrote."

we will persevere...we will come back strong...we will be a very dangerous football team next year and into the forseeable future. very little went right for us this year....odds say we catch some breaks next and sometimes that is all it takes. bama's very, very good but they've been very lucky the last two years with other teams cramping ahead of them.

keep your heads up boys.

fricked up prevent defense on the Gumps last possession lost the game. LSU went away from what had worked for them the whole game and just handed the win to Bama.

We still had to win the other games and the seccg.. God you guys are fricking stupid.

Again, beating bama doesnt matter if we go 1-11.

We could have beat bama but lost the last three games. If this team isnt 10-2. This thread wouldnt exist. You guys need to realize Les is the reason your expectations are so high. Let me guess, we magically went 13-0 last year.

If I had to pick one play that really set us back it would have to be the one where Chris Faulk got hurt. Run something different maybe he dosnt hurt his knee and we gel as a team much sooner than the Bama game

It is at least a 10 if not at 14 point swing at that point. He got an earful on the sideline from his teammates

No, 180 points for 150 points against in sec play. 6 wins by an average of 5 points; pretty pathetic
