Anyone else didn't really care for this one? It took about 45 minutes for the movie to really begin and they literally jumped directly into him being Spiderman... web abilities literally within 15 seconds he's jumping building to building, lol.

What was y'all take on this? Better than the previous rendition?

And ALL 2 of those threads didn't show up for me until now. But thanks for your insight on the film.

Search function sucks. There have been multiple polarizing threads.

I liked the Tobey Maguire ones 1000x better.

I hated this one.

I file this movie under totally unnecessary reboot.

I really liked it. I thought that guy was the quintessential Parker/SM. I liked how it was deliberately not as over the top type of format.

I was disappointed. The Tobey ones were better. I don't care who the better Parker is bc I didn't go see it for Parker.

I really enjoyed it. Thought it was a lot better than the others.

loved the back story a lot more. and the whole cartridge thing over the web shooting out of his wrist is where it was supposed to be.

WAAAAY closer to the comic. Which i loved. I liked the reboots take on Parker way better than Toby McGuire. Stone beat the shite out of Dunst as the leading lady, and the villian was my favorite since the Green Goblin. I thought it was really well done, and i cant wait for the next one.

The first McGuire movie was ok, basically because Willem Dafoe is a superb actor.

I will never ever forgive that franchise for choosing Topher Grace to play Eddie Brock then murdering everything cool about Venom and the Symbiote. frick that.

Sony had to release another film or they lose the rights which I wish is what happened so marvel got the rights back and have him in the next avengers.

I thought it sucked. I liked Tobey Maguire's PP/SM much better.
