He's going to be a good hire for a big school at some point but not sexy enough to unite the fanbase. They need a homerun

I sort of think he would be a good hire for UT. It's a tough, disciplinarian type coach, something they need at UT and UK for that matter.
I don't think UK would hire an in state coach (see Strong as well), but I think he would be a good hire for UT.

I like Taggart more than a lot of names floated. But he would be far down the list just because of the risk.

I don't know why Taggart would want to take a step back in jobs this early in his career, he will wait on something better to open up.

Vol fans laugh all you want but my mate knows someone in the Tennessee BOT and he has been saying Taggart is in yalls top 5 all season. Honestly its about the best you could do. Tennessee is bankrupt. BTW gruden is not coming fromwhat I heard, yall can't afford him. He will be in the NFL.

Taggart's a WKU lifer. He had a 3 year gap when he coached RBs at Stanford. Outside of that, he has been there since 1995, first as a player, then working his way up the coaching ranks. Would be interesting to see if he would want to leave if someone came calling. He might be content to build his alma mater into something instead of bailing.
