I need your best Mexican cornbread recipe. Yes, I'm talking to you.

1 cup Martha white corn meal mix (white)
3/4 cup Martha white self rising flour
1/4 cup bell pepper diced
1 jalapeño pepper remove white membrane and dice small
1/4 cup onion diced
1/2 cup sharp cheddar grated
1 cup buttermilk

Mix all together and add water if needed to make pancake consistency
Heat cast iron skillet and add three tablespoons oil then batter when oil is sizzling hot. Transfer to preheated 375 degree oven cook until top is browned
