playing hooky with other boats in the water never leads to sex.

Mine aren't that good.
When I was 10, I got peppered by my neighbors shooting doves in his field.
When I was 14, my oldest brother and I were in the woods messing around with a 20 gauge shotgun, just shooting stuff. I was about 10 yeards away from my brother. He shot at something and missed, and pointed the gun at me and it went off. I pulled 4 bb's out of the side of my calf. That could have been bad.
I was first learning the game of golf and playing at City Park when I pulled my tee shot on the first hole (Par 3). The ball rested about 30 yards from the guys on the next tee box, not even close to hitting them. One of them decided to mouth off to us and my friend marched straight to them with his 7 iron and was cussing them out. Them dudes did a 180 and hauled arse. :csb:

I was hunting a WMA in SC years ago. I was driving my truck down the dirt road when she quit on me. Luckily, or so I thought, there was a group of guys parked and eating lunch on the side of the road. I asked if any of them were mechanically inclined. They said they'd be happy to help after they do finished eating. Lunch included them drinking a case of beer and firing off their rifles down the open road. I figured it would end with me squealing like a pig. Thankfully though, they eventually got me back on my way.

So many times of Peppering. Pellets rain down with no harm. Who has not peppered others for fun?

I think it's just a natural reaction - not a learned behavior. It always happens though when words are exchanged on the golf course.

Is it illegal to shoot a canebrake rattlesnake on WMA in LA?
re: The Public Hunting "Incidents"/Rural Legends ThreadPosted by AlxTgr on 11/20/12 at 10:32 am to Ole Geauxt
Is that frowned upon?

The absolute funniest one.. is Guy A loans his BRAND new Jeep Cherokee to a buddy... buddy takes said vehicle onto perimeter of Navy base(which shall remain nameless) that bordered a NWR... the edges of both were very well manicured.. ALWAYS had deer.. and night time deer watchers..... well Ole boy couldn't take it so.. he has a weapon he has checked out from the armory.. bang bang bang..... whilst they are loading deer....
here comes SP and USFWS.... BOTH want jurisdiction for charging him....
1. trespassing
2. hostile trespassing
3. taking deer at night.
4. hunting from road..
5. hunting with rifle(was shotgun only county)
6. Hunting on sunday(it was 02:30)...AND technically sunday. sunday hunting was also illegal.
Cherokee was siezed....
the list of charges for the two when they got back to their command... was monumental... especially for the weapon and NVG they "checked out"...
but the Cherokee's owner had to pay for it... even though he lost it....... I think he got it back after the cases went through the legal system..

pretty shooting or killing any non game or unregulated quadrupeds is illegal on most if not all WMA's and NWRs
I have a gentlemen's agreement with snakes.. they let me or mine slide.. I let them slide...
In 30 plus years of having dogs... 2 bites. from snakes.. BOTH were in parks... one was deserved.. t he second one was not..... in both instances that snake expired.....btw.. dog was fine in both cases... vet visits, anti venom and antibiotics...
