24/7 is gone, and it's not in the map rotation for regular games. Some people are super pissed about it, like class-action-lawsuit pissed. I'm a little annoyed. It's a fun map and should at least be put back in rotation.

Not a total loss for me either, though I didn't hate the map. I used it to level my sniper rifles (which is probably why it was removed in the first place.. boosting).
The issue here is that that map was heavily advertised as an incentive for preordering, as well as for buying the extra crap for those who didn't preorder. It's a very popular map. Personally, I walked into a gamestop after work on Tuesday and grabbed a copy of the PC version. No preordering, paid normal price, and still got Nuketown. So, I can't exactly throw a fit about it.
There are over 400 articles about it on google news this evening, Treyarch developers getting reamed on Twitter, a long bitch-fest thread on Steam of course, and a youtube call to arms by some guy with over a million subscribers.
Needless to say, nothing will come of it.

I have been busy today and yesterday so I have not heard what happened?I played that map some now it Durant show up? Why did it go away anyone know? They sure made a big deal about it for presale even if it sucked

It just happened today. Got on after work and the Nuketown option was gone with no real explanation. I google it and see the shitstorm over it had apparently started in the afternoon. Some developer on twitter claims it might be put back in the map rotation for regular games but is still in internal discussions.

It wasn't even a preorder exclusive. You can probably still get a copy of the game with it at any retailer now.

I never understood why they take out playlists for no reason at all. Doesn't seem like it would cost a lot of resources to keep it up. Same with Reach when they removed the community playlist and CTF.
