So it appears Treyarch didn't solve any of the problems that plagued BLOPS

Wtf?
Spawns are shitty most of the time, inconsistent hit detection, unbalanced weapons, and don't even get me started on the servers.
I guess theres no incentive to fix the problems if there's no legitimate competition
ETA: they also left the drop shot in this game, which completely baffles me.

Drop shot is one thing I haven't seen much of. If you move your thumbstick just a fraction in any direction it triggers the moving animation, honestly I'm impressed if anyone drop shots me now

Modern Warfare 3.5
Totally opposite of the first black ops. So freaking fast paced...
This one is all about how fast you can run/move, and how fast your gun can shoot. Nothing but SMGs and the quickscoping is as bad as its ever been on any CoD. Very disappointed

What made you think that they were going too...Millions of people still bought the game. Treyarch still got paid. The first game is the same as the current one. At the end of the day its all about money. Call of duty is dead black op's is dead. Nothings going to change until they come out with a new game. Thats the hard truth.

It is a lot faster paced than BLOPS, but it plays a lot smoother than MW3. I don't even think it's comparable in terms of fun, this game blows MW3 out of the water.
Agree completely on the lack of large, open maps like Hazard and Array. They need one of those.

Well this sucks to hear, luckily I just use Gamefly and will have Blops 2 tomorrow to check out.
MW3 lasted me a month before I sent that shite back, all I did was level up and run n gun with dual P90's and steady aim. I'd get 30+ kills per match just spraying in close quarters. Was fun for about week.
Blops 1 was the exact opposite, seemed like you were always in long distance gun fights and the maps were damn near perfect.
fricking CoD.
Maybe I should consider MoH instead?

WMD was the shite, so many great sniping options.
Jungle was nice and large too, loved the layout.
Is there not a jungle setting map on 2 or is it just small?

Activision needs to get dedicated servers so we can stop dealing with this lag compensation bullshite.

Drone is kind of jungle themed, but full of high tech buildings so meh.
It's a bigger map, but isn't a very open one so snipers don't have many opportunities.

Shotguns are ridiculous. Absolutely unstoppable in hard point due to map sizes. Quick snipers. No point to have assault rifles due to map sizes. Played mw3 for a total of 7 hours. Blops might be the same.

I'm sure they'll throw out a map call and give it 3 large maps and sell it for $15.
Planned that way more than likely.
"Make them crave larger maps, then dish them out for $15 later on."
