They're having a meh year, with contending for a minor bowl about the best they can do. What do they have coming back, and will Patterson have moved on to Fayetteville by next September?

In other TCU news, the fighting Trents squeaked by Prairie View today, 44-39.

I don't know if Patterson leaves. Here's a link to their depth chart for start of this season. They're young so lots of starters coming back, Jr QB.

In addition to their Cheerleaders and Dance teams.... Them hiring Trent is the main reason they are one of my favorite schools.

Their qb was booted for drugs, he's coming back next year so they should be better.

I don't think Patterson will bolt.

TCU should be a pretty good team next year. Patterson is a great coach. He will have those boys ready to play.

I feel like we should all send them a fruit basket or something

ETA: Patterson will still be there IMO. He's been targeted before by other schools and hasn't budged. Plus now that TCU is in a BCS conference and the playoff system making it easier for non SEC teams to win the NC, he'll have no reason to leave

GP is going no where.

Starting qb is a red shirt freshman

Tcu has played the second most freshman of any school this year and as been forced to actually start most of them.

This is their first year recruiting in the big 12 and things will only get better.

You can expect TCU to rise to the top of big 12 defenses and with maturity at qb and key rb recovering from injury they should be able to replicate big 12 offensive productions.

I couldn't agree more. It will be a great atmosphere. Dallas will be the place to be on that night.

Sounds pretty good. It could probably be worse for TCU. Our secondary next year will be insane. Our LB corps? Probably the fastest and fiercest group in the country next year.

I honestly can't wait for this game. I grew up in Ft Worth and have a lot of friends that go there. I was really hoping it would be a home/home series because I love my hometown and wish that yall would experience it (same goes for my friends to experience BR on gamedays). It'll be close for the 1st quarter, but we have too much talent for them to be competitive in the long run

I don't see Patterson going anywhere. I think Arky will look at either Charlie Strong or the HC at La. Tech, I can't think of his name offhand.

Will Casey Pachall be back? I know he was suspended because of drugs or driving drunk or something like that.

It'll be a good game to open the season with.

Honestly with a year of maturity and polishing in the off season Boykin has all of the ability to take TCU to the same place as Pachall. At least with Boykin there will be less drama. Pachall does have a hell of an arm though.

Who is the highly recruited true freshman qb they are redshirting this year? My buddy at horned frog sports thinks he could take over next year like Dalton did as a RSF

Kent St will be a tougher game especially if Archer comes back
As far as Trent, just watched UGA hoops and Trent protege Coach Fox go through the five minutes without a basket offense

They are a Big 12 team so frick it....they're game.

We can't trade them for Texas, so we will have to beat the crap out of them next year and have an OOC BCS feather in the cap.
