He assumes that KState is going to beat Texas. There is still hope man!

The what if scenario:
Auburn beats Alabama #2 done
FSU beats Florida #4 done
Texas beats KState #6 done
OSU beats Oregon (or UCLA beats Oregon in the PAC 12 CG) #5 done
FSU loses the ACC CG. (Just in case!!)
We beat UGA in the championship game #3 done

LSU vs ND

Why would anyone in their right mind assume this at all?

The only thing that is close to impossible is Auburn beating Bama. But, there is a chance right?

Laughable that KState is even in the top 10. I know it doesn't take into account margin of loss but shite

I know head to head counts for something but if uga were to beat Bama by ten or more I would think we get the nod. We finished 3-0, Bama 2-2

This is why its not 2007. within an hour after the Arkansas loss in 07 LSUMatt started a thread and said that in order for LSU to get back to the game,

LSU had to beat Tenn
OU had to beat Mizzou
Pitt had to beat WV

Only 1 of those was even an upset really, as I think OU was favored in the BigXII champ game.

This is just not a similar scenario.

There were actually about 7 games IIRC that went our way when we needed a SOS boost for computer points.

that was 2003 when Hawaii and Syracuse games on the last weekend played a role in the SOS for USC and LSU.

In 07 LSU was a comfortable 2 in the human polls after the SECCG and didn't really need any computer help that last weekend.
