LINK

1 ND
2 Alabama
3 Georgia
4 Oregon
5 Florida
6 Florida State
7 Kansas State
8 LSU
9 Clemson
10 Texas A&M

I think LSU ends up # 6 in the BCS this week, ahead of Kansas State and Florida State, but behind Florida and Oregon.

Yes, we do. Specifically, we need Florida to lose to Florida State.

If we are sitting at #6 now - and I think we will be - a Florida loss to FSU puts us in the top 4 because either Alabama or Georgia also must lose.

It wouldn't hurt if Kansas State also lost to Texas, just for good measure.

Also, Florida State represents something of a paradox for us. They are ahead of us in both human polls. Their computer ranking is dragging them down.

If they beat Florida, will their computer ranking improve enough for them to pass LSU?

I'll take that chance, as it is pretty much the only chance we have.

I don't know.... I have a feeling that with Florida farting out wins (particularly against ULL) and Jacksonville State, teams that shouldn't have even been in the game, I wouldn't be surprised to see them drop below us in the BCS.

For some reason, I see Oregon a spot below us too. Maybe wishful thinking.

We lost to #6 and #2. FSU lost to NC State, K-State got destroyed by a team with a losing record and worst defense in CFB.

the winner of UF/FSU is going to be ahead of us.

I don't think that happens. Florida's computer rating is very good. They might be #1 in the computers this week. They had a pretty solid lead over us in the BCS formula last week. I don't see them falling after a win, and not when their computer rank just improved.

This could happen. I would like it to happen. Oregon's computer score is weak. Their human rankings are propping them up.

Unfortunately, FSU might vault ahead of us if they beat Florida. However, their computer score is pretty bad (17 last week, I think).

I Realize voters just rank teams in groups with the same number of losses at this point in the season, but Kansas State just lost by 30 god damn points to a .500 team.

There is absolutely no reason to have them in the top 10.

Its pretty hard to figure out how good anyone is in the country this year. None of the SEC teams have played shite other than each other, so its hard to figure them out. they have also all avoided losing to anyone but each other, so they've clearly separated from the rest of the league, but the rest of the league is garbage.

Kansas St. and ND have the same signature win, Oregon doesn't have a really good win on the resume, FSU hasn't beaten anyone, and Clemson lost the only real game they've played.

Its just one of those years, where no teams are all that impressive.

LSU and Bama of 2011 would Beat the ever-living shite out of every team in the top 10 this season. I think OSU and Stanford last year were better than any of these teams also.

Fsu vaulted us because their coach screamed in the press and they have a weak schedule .

Season is over cotton bowl hear we come! This is grossly unfair.

Stop saying this is unfair. LSU had their chance and blew it.
