One is a mammal one is a bird. We hunt ducks all the time. stop trying to make him look bad because you think its wrong to laugh at something humans kill for sport

I would hunt with a bow and have a knife with me just in case since I would be on the ground and not in a stand. It would actually take some more skill and practice.

You "would"? So you don't hunt. This is all a hypothetical discussion. Excellent!

Corso is funny and that bit was funny, the folks claiming cruelty really need to watch the vid.

Corso got a bit carried away, let grip with 2 hands fall as he waved and tried to keep hold of the duck with one hand, it was not particularly smooth in transition from 2 hands to one, but to suggest he was it was torture is going waaaaayyy toooooo far.

Let's go hunt grizzly bears, I'll gladly watch as you display your "skill."

This thread actually had some potential and should have been moved to the OB, but as is usually the case, it degenerated into a bunch of high-school name calling. For the record, I hunt on occassion, although it is not an additiction like it is for many. I always want to kill my target quickly, which is why I have never wanted to hunt with a bow...a rifle/shotgun is infinately more humane, if somewhat less "sporting." I do not get any enjoyment watching an animal suffer, regardless of whether they are covered with fur, feathers or scales.

I was okay with it until the last few seconds he should have just put it down instead of forcing the duck to stay still by wraping his hand around it's neck.

Maybe so, but there are some reasonable folks on that board as well. Regardless of which board you read, it does seem like the exchanges degenerate into the equivalent of a bunch of crazed hyenas attacking a lone gazelle. I am slowly learning that this site is not exactly the epitome of respectful discourse!

I just watched it. It was fine until the last 5 seconds, then the duck's wing seemed to be pinned in an awkward position. Overall it wasn't bad enough to warrant this discussion, name calling, and reverting to hunting with a longbow or bowie knife.
