Chances of these guys go pro...

As much as I would hate to see these great junior players leaving early, no one could deny that they have done more than enough to earn themselves a check from the NFL teams. Now, with No.99 and 49 almost being a done deal of leaving after this season, what do y'all think of the chances of these guys leaving too?
Eric Reid, Tharold Simon, Kevin Minter, Chris Faulk, Bennie Logan, Spencer Ware, Zach Mettenberger...
Well I will start by rating them from the highest possibility of leaving to the lowest one and give my perspective as to why.
Bennie Logan -- 95%. He's played as a starting DT for two consecutive years for LSU, and he's been consistently productive if not too standout. I don't see why he won't leave early as a junior. Plus, he comes from a very small town, so making big money as early could be a big deal to his family.
Eric Reid -- 85%. If Reid wants to leave, he's got every reason to do so, maybe except for getting his college degree. Even though how much a college degree weighs in his decision remains unknown, I still think his chance of leaving is pretty high.
Kevin Minter -- 70%. Honestly, this guy is the last one I wanted to see leaving early out of the list. He is not only a masterpiece in the LB position but has also grown into a leader on the defense. Even though Minter was kinda off the radar at the beginning of this season, but two monster games against FLA and aTm has made him a top LB prospect this year. Our D can possibly absorb the loss of Mingo, Sam, Logan, and even Reid, but I don't think we have had a proper replacement ready for Minter at the middle LB position yet. I really wanted to see him staying for another year and take the rein for defense, but I also have a strong feeling that he may be gone.
Spencer Ware -- 50%. I bet 90% of the division I schools are jealous of the back field talent and depth chart we have at RB. Yet in the meantime, that deep depth chart doesn't necessarily mean a good thing for our RBs, especially for Spencer Ware. After a break out game against aTm in the cotton bowl, Ware has been kind of quiet and struggled from time to time due to injury and off field issues. Staying for another year could result in a drastic improvement on the draft stock, but it also mean potentially getting drown by our other RB talents. Who knows? Maybe 50% chance is the best way to represent that this is a hard decision to make for Ware.
Tharold Simon -- 40%. Simon might be the biggest disappointment on the secondary this year as a lot are expected of him after Mo and TM7 were gone. He's been inconsistent all year and did not leave up to the hype that people give him. I will give him a 40% chance of leaving only because he originally mentioned that he intended to leave early, but that was from his sophomore year. Since his junior year didn't go as well as expected, maybe he will/should stay.
Zach Mettenberger -- 20%. Everybody knows his talent, and having two consecutive monster games only helps the NFL scout confirm the assumption about him. There are already rumors about his draft stock rising up quickly after the Miss State game. Is he really going to pull the trigger with such urgency? I seriously doubted, but cannot rule out the possibility, which can get even higher if he continues to play well for the next two and the bowl games.
Chris Faulk -- 10%. This possibility could be timed by 7 or 8 if not for Faulk's season ending injury. I believe he will come back as the country's top ranked LT and be drafted next year in the first round if he can remain healthy.

Im with you on Kevin Minter we need him.

I don't see Minter,Mettenberger or Faulk going pro after this season.
Reid & Logan are completely different stories.

i honestly dont think Simon or Logan has played well enough to leave early. They could improve their draft stock dramatically with 1 more year.
I dont think Eric Reid is ready for the NFL either

Jesus Christ, Metenberger is not going pro this year. He could turn into goddamn joe Montana and not go higher than second round. Why Would he leave?

Simon, Logan, Reid, and minter all stay.

why do people think this? any particular reason?
he has been solid, but could really benefit another year which could vault him into the 1st round. I think people think he has been better than what he is

Reid said that he had accomplished what he wanted to a LSU and he has his degree
Posted on 11/16/12 at 6:36 pm to Lester Earl
I guess it would depend on his draft grade at the end of the season, but I haven't seen a mock draft that doesn't have him in the first round.

I had thought that he might come back.. but a few weeks ago a poster said he spoke at a Dutchtown game or something and told all the kids to enjoy high school because it all goes by fast.. and that he realizes that now that he is in his last year at LSU.

Another totally uniformed guess based upon draft prospects (and ability to improve them) more than anything:
Montgomery 95%
Mingo 70%
Reid 70%
Minter 60%
Ware 50%
Logan 30%
Simon 30%
Loston 30%
Mett & Faulk 0%
Montgomery 95%
Mingo 70%
Reid 70%
Minter 60%
Ware 50%
Logan 30%
Simon 30%
Loston 30%
Mett & Faulk 0%

Reid has done more than enough on the field to be considered as a top safety draft pick this year. That's for sure. The only thing I can envision that will hold him back is his degree, which is a total unknown at this point.

0% chance Reid goes pro if he didn't have his degree. But he will get his degree this semester. That said believe it or not their is still a decent chance he doesn't go pro yet.

Add Copeland to this list. His stock can't get any higher for a FB. He's gone.

It really would baffle me if this guy didn't go pro. Is he getting any love on the mock drafts?
This guy has done so much. 43 solo tackles, 90 total tackles, a forced fumble, 3 sacks, 11.5 TFL, and he averages 12 tackles on the road.
He is the right size for a LB in the NFL, at 6'2" and 242 lbs.
I hope he comes back.

I originally want to put Copeland in this list, but since I really couldn't think of a former FB who got drafted early as a junior, so....Any hints?

I generally agree with you, but I would lower Logan's percentage and add Ware in at 50%. I think mett and Faulk will stay.

He shouldn't. Really hasn't been spectacular this year.
