Blue collar work horse right here. Haven't had time to do any research, but what are the bowl possibilities we are looking at and which are most probable? I've already requested 45 tickets to the BCS Championship.

Win out and go to either Cotton or Fiesta barring some weird stuff happening.

alot up in the air atm. If we win out, we can be anywhere from the Sugar to the Chik-Fil-A

Too early to tell and there are several possibilities at this point......will know more in 2 weeks.

Would love to be in the Sugar bowl, but if we end up in the Cotton bowl I hope it's against Texas.

Would anyone get excited about 10-2 LSU vs. 11-1 Clemson in the Chick-fil-A Bowl?

No. This would be the worst case scenario. Meaningless game against a weak team. Winning that game would mean nothing, and heaven forbid losing, which would tarnish the team. Plus, who wants to listen to Dabo Sweeney talk for a week? What a dufus.
I think the likely games are Cotton vs Texas or Fiesta vs OU, either is ok, but I would prefer the BCS bowl. Of course, the odds that some teams ranked at the top lose, are pretty good, and then everything could get shaken up.

Realistic single game to best help our bowl situation: FSU over Gators

Dream game: Auburn over Bama (with 10-2 LSU and A&M)

Assuming a Bama win and a UF loss, an A&M loss would cement a 10-2 LSU in the BCS. 50-50 otherwise.

Johnny football probably going to screw us of a fiesta bowl bid. I think they'd pick us or aTm over Florida right now given how bad they look. Plus they will probably lose to FSU. We actually need Bama to win the sec if we want the fiesta. If you don't want/care about the fiesta then screw it and die Bama. because if they lose I guarantee they take Bama.

50% Cotton
30% Fiesta/Rose
10% Sugar
10% Outback/Gator/CFA

Fiesta/Rose is definitely in play if LSU wins out and Florida loses to Florida State (lots of variables here, but the bottom line is LSU is on a very short list for Fiesta/Rose if we win out and Florida loses) ... If Fiesta takes Notre Dame to replace KState, then LSU is likely going to Rose Bowl. If Fiesta takes OU to replace KState, then the Fiesta may take A&M over LSU and ...

If Fiesta takes A&M over LSU, then we go Cotton ... this probably is the favorite to be LSU's destination as of now

If Florida beats Florida State and makes the BCS, then this is worst case scenario for LSU and might push us to Outback/Gator/CFA because A&M probably goes to Cotton

If Bama/UGA sneak back into BCSCG, Sugar Bowl is back in play for LSU.

It is a very fluid situation that could change a lot in the next 3 weeks, but if you are an LSU fan that would prefer Fiesta/Rose (as most do), then root for:

-FSU over Florida in an "ugly" game where both teams look shitty
-USC big over Notre Dame
-Missouri over A&M (unless Auburn beats Bama, then root for A&M so LSU can go to SECCG)
-Oregon/Kstate win out, but KState finish #1 (don't give Rose first pick to replace #1)
-Michigan to win the Big10 (makes Rose not want Notre Dame)

The absolute MAIN thing for LSU is that we want to finish in the Top4...If we do that, we're BCS-bound, probably Fiesta/Rose (or Sugar if Bama/UGA get back into BCSCG)

But if Bama loses it would be to auburn, putting us in the sec championship game with the winner going to the sugar.

Even If the fiesta takes ND then I don't think we are "likely" to go to the rose bowl. No matter what the situation I don't see us going there.

Correct. 3 things need to happen for LSU to go to SECCG:

1. LSU win out
2. Auburn beat Alabama
3. A&M beat Mizzou
-(keep in mind that if Bama does beat Auburn, we would actually need Mizzou to beat A&M)

If Oregon wins out...Big IF....But if they do, then the Pac12 won't have another BCS-eligible team. And if Notre Dame is off the board with Fiesta's first pick, then yes, it is actually very likely that LSU will be playing the Big10 champ in the Rose.

In that scenario, LSU is the favorite as the Rose Bowl pick.

(FWIW, everything at this point says Fiesta will replace KState with OU, thus making that scenario void, as Notre Dame would still be on the board for the Rose Bowl. No one really knows for sure what the Fiesta is going to do in terms of whether or not they'll stay true to Big12 ties or not with an undefeated or 1-loss Notre Dame available for the taking....Nonetheless, if Fiesta takes OU, that means A&M to Fiesta probably...If Fiesta takes Notre Dame, that means LSU to Rose probably).

It'll be interesting to see it play out....Lots of variables at work. The only thing LSU can do is go out and win these final two games. As fans, we simply need to root for FSU to beat Florida, USC to beat Notre Dame, and Mizzou to beat A&M. And while we're at it we might as well root for Kstate and Oregon to win out and for Michigan to find a way to win the Big10.

Just don't forget that if Auburn does manage to pull a shocker vs Alabama, then we actually reverse course and need A&M to beat Mizzou.

You can ask 50 times in a manner of different ways but the answer will always be the same, we don't know yet.

We have lost 2 games already...barring a total collapse by every team but 1 in front of us, we will play some meaningless bowl game against an opponent with more to play for (ie Texas with Mack Brown's last game or fighting for his job).
