I'll bet more points are scored in that game than any of the last 3 LSU/Bama games.

Hahnville's band always performs at the half during home games, the visitors perform after the game. It's been that way for years. For the playoffs if the 2 schools agree they could split the halftime performance time but from what I hear it's not going to happen, everyone hear knows about her hissy last week.

I'd rather watch a WM- Acadiana game any day over some high scoring sandlot game with no defense. That game and the Aug-STM should be real good ones to watch.

JJ, you know anything about Parkway? I know they are 10-1 but I'm not sure how good their schedule was.

actually.. D town may not be the best matchup for Rummel

the winner of SCC and ND... is not a good matchup for EF..

acadiana Wm is about as stout a 2nd round matchup as you could expect....

stm vs st aug.. got friends with kids on both sides.. and I don't think this one will be close..

I'll say it again in 3A North Desoto - could be a strong dark horse.

Brusly PBS is an interesting matchup too...

I'd say a better comparison to watching those two offenses play for 2 1/2 hours is watching paint dry.

I wouldn't consider watching two powerhouses playing in the 2nd round like watching paint dry

That's gonna be a great game

They beat up on weak Shreveport schools. Out of 56 5A schools, Parkway had the 47th ranked schedule. I don't expect them to do much. If they get by Hahnville, Barbe will blow them out. I actually like Hahnville due to the long trip for Parkway.

Thanks! HHS has gotten better each week after starting off losing to Karr, Lutcher, and St. Aug. I'm worried about the Tigers lack of size, hopefully the speed can make up for it.

Does anybody actually like the way lhsaa determines the home team in the football playoffs? I've always hated it.

Not a fan. I think if you want a home game, win more during the regular season. The way they do it now is basically collective bargaining. Trying to spread the wealth so poor teams don't have to foot the bill for travel so much. Hell Shows has offered teams 10-15K to come to WM because their stadiums couldn't hold WM's fans.

Agreed. I went to Barbe, and WM had to come down and play them in the second round in 2001, and I think WM was the 1 seed. While the rule helped my team in that situation (not enough ), I remember thinking how unfair it was.

It is light years better than it used to be.... I can count at least 10-12 matchups where the two of the three best teams played in the first or second round in the old days...

personally I think the higher seed should be home team regardless of anything else.

I also think it is wrong for some teams to have to go to New Orleans - 2 or even 3 weeks in a row...

This is the one thing that bothers me. If we're worried about schools being out money for travel, let the higher seeded team have the opportunity to cover travel costs by some gate-splitting scenario before you simply ship the team with a better record to another city.

Oh look it's the self entitled idiot who is worried about his OT rep! Get those tier rankings in line or you might have some people who want to e-fight you over OT rep.

Tell me something GTG when was the last time Catholic beat Central? Yea it's been a few years.
