If this trade is true, the few fans Miami has must feel completely betrayed.

Built the team a new stadium and they gave less than 1 year of spending money before going into salary dump mode

I guess the Blue Jays are tired of rebuilding. They have the third longest streak without a playoff appearance in the majors and seeing the Orioles make the playoffs last year after so many years of futility must have stuck in their craw quite a bit. I like the move for them. The Blue Jays need to make their push for the playoffs now. The Yankees seem to be on the decline and the Red Sox are rebuilding. Go for it now before the window closes.

I dunno, this makes them pretty damned good.

If Romero can return to form and Morrow can stay healthy, that's 3 solid starters + an ace in Johnson.

You got Lawrie, Bats, Reyes, Arencibia, d'Arnaud, Encarnacion (depending on what all they gave up).

They are gonna be pretty good.

We are. Frick the owners. Couldn't get rid of Nolasco or keep Reyes. Frick them.

Red Sox thought so as well.....
Reyes has health issues
Johnson hasn't faced AL DH for extended time
Buerhle is nothing special, 200 inning work hourse who will post between 3.50-4.00 ERA
