Falcons have just countered that move by picking up FA all pro DE Charles Grant.

I said no way in hell, but I went and checked Jay Glazer's twitter just in case haha he probably hasn't run more than 5 yards in the last 2 years.

Wait, so he sucked without Jared Allen getting double and triple teamed on the other side?

We play the birds again in 17 days. He might be worth a flyer just to get some info from.

Pretty big bust when ya give a guy $4.75mil in bonus money, $5mil in salary, lose over $4mil in cap space cutting him, and ax him less than two years into a five year deal.

He walks away with $12mil guaranteed for 3.5 sacks last year and none this season.

Wow, I'd have to see what they get back from releasing him. Somewhat surprising even though Kroy Biermann had been starting over him regardless. At least he was depth...

Anyone know what ATL gets back from releasing him?

Like Blues said, he was signed to a 5 year deal. They had to pay him to release him.
