Last night was a perfect example of how A&M could have possibly run the tables in the Big 12 and beaten BAMA in the NCG - both undefeated.

I'm happy a playoff is just a few years off because we will most likely get a Big 12 vs Pac 12 National championship game this year...

And does anyone think K-State would be undefeated right now if they played A&M's schedule...?

Good for A&M - just left the Big 12 a little too early. I'd like to know some Aggies' fans thoughts on this...

Kansas St is a really good team believe it or not. They have a very good QB and alot of experienced players.

Oh, no doubt.
As is Oregon.
They are very good teams.

So are LSU/Bama/aTm/UGa/UF along with SCar/MSU.

Do you seriously believe KSU would be undefeated in the SEC?
Do you seriously believe Oregon would be undefeated in the SEC?
Do you seriously believe ND would be undefeated in the SEC?

Disagree. They are a good team but not really good. They haven't face a defense with a pulse all year. That entire conference scores 100 PTs a game but would lose to LSU, Bama, ATM, Georgia, and probably South Carolina and Florida.

Oregon for sure would be undefeated if they played this SEC schedule:

@Missouri
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
@ So Car
@ Kentucky
Florida
Ole Miss
@ Auburn

Bama's SEC schedule last year had only 3 teams with a winning record and 1 of those was 7-5. The SEC is the best conference, but unlike the Big 12 and Pac 12, we only play 8 conference games.

I am an Aggie. There are ABSOLUTELY no regrets for me and all of my Aggie friends feel the same. The move to the SEC was a long term decision.

Playing South Carolina's schedule NO
Playing Florida's schedule YES

Oh the initial questions was if TAM stayed in the Big 12 would they be playing in the NC. I think they would have still been beaten by K ST.

I think K ST ends up the only undefeated team. Oregon is going to loos to Oregon St. Notre Dame to USC. I think the SEC Champ will play K ST in the NC and although my heart is with the SEC I think K ST is a tuff team this year.

Oregon would have faired similarly this year to what they did last year vs LSU. LSU is on UF's schedule.

only reason I disagree is if it was Florida's schedule LSU would have played (Oregon / K ST) at their house.

Good points

This is why the 4-team playoff will be a huge improvement....because it will be damn near impossible to go undefeated in the SEC West for the next 5-10 years, especially if Arky gets Gary Patterson.

TAMU wouldn't have run the tables in the Big12.

I love how because A&M beat Bama and are now in the SEC...that they're some instant super team.

Teams can score crapload of points in the Big12. TAMU would be in a lot of shoot-outs as usual. Look at last year.

And TAMU would have probably faced the same bias if they were in the Big12 still - just like Okie State last year and be left out regardless...in which we should have had an SEC/Big12 matchup

Oregon beats all those teams except LSU and potentially USCe. UGA and Bama run 3-4 bases and struggle tackling. The Oregon d-line is SEC calibur and will not give up rushing yards like you think. Not to mention, unless UGA starts extremely fast, they are traditionally an average team...and average loses big to Oregon.

Kansas State is the best coached team in college football.

Just a year ago a lot of these same people were saying A&M couldn't compete in the SEC, the spread won't work in the SEC ect etc. A&M has also gotten better as the season has progressed. People forget that. If they played OU or KSU the weeks they played Ole Miss and La Tech or for that matter LSU they probably lose.

Are you aware that Kansas State is in the Big XII? You're not still insisting that ND will jump KSU and Oregon if all 3 remain undefeated are you? You do realize the only way Bama gets back in is if 2 of the 3 lose right?
