Per my sources.

He would be more open to taking other jobs IF louisville wasn't his first job. He feels he needs to be loyal to them.

It's hard to believe he wouldn't jump at the money a school like Arkansas could offer but it says a lot about him wanting to stay loyal to Louisville

One should know which posters are credible before making such remarks.

You're right, it's too much to ask for something that remotely resembles concrete evidence when people make assertions of that nature.

No shite... SEC fans are shot out in the brain when it comes to the reality of coaching changes. I am here to guide the way...

How about Bobo as a viable option??

Of course, he still has 3 weeks of regular season to go.

If you make 4 million a year. You probably aren't all that motivated by money. He might want stability for his family and if he's happy who cares about a few extra million at that point.

The money is great wherever you are, it's more about the competition. Charlie's decision will be based upon dominating the Big East, or competing in a bigger, better conference. It's more about competitiveness than money when you make that much.

This could be true, it would really not surprise me either way. He can dominate the Big East another year or two, without much effort. Will he choose to do that, or take on a challenge somewhere?
I think I would come down on the side of which job offer comes his way - Arkansas, Auburn, Texas, or somewhere else.

Strong will get more money from UL to keep him. He may be smarter to stay

I've been saying this for a bit now. Strong is still pretty bitter about getting passed over when some other SEC openings came up in the past.

I think he at the very least holds out to see if Louisville gets a Big 12 bid. If they don't then he'll move IMO. Especially when he realizes he can roll through undefeated with that shitastic schedule and not even sniff a playoff without those AQs.

I still believe money always talks in the end but I can see Strong staying for now. He did take it very personally about having to wait so long for his first chance, even saying that racism and prejudices regarding him being married to a white woman prevented some schools from hiring him. In his presser he was very sincere and thankful to Louisville for giving him his big break. I can see him feeling great loyalty to the school out of principle.

Charlie would be wise to wait for a real big time job IMO
