So I wonder what changes now that they are losing their first game, and to Syracuse of all teams. I think Charlie might rethink things if they don't end up with the BCS game, and go to what, the Beef O Brady bowl again?
That's the other problem with staying at Louisville, one loss drops you to a bottom feeder bowl game.

Yes, but my point is they lose one game, and can be moved down to a Dec. 23rd bowl game. That's what is wrong with the Big East, no bowl tie-in's that matter except the one they are about to lose in the playoff system.
Your ability to remain in the national spotlight at a lower conference is severely limited.

they should try to work a deal with the Heart of Dallas Bowl. Its on January 1st and they may want to replace the CUSA affiliation now that SMU and Houston have gone to the Big East.
