Well if Logan comes back he will wear it, but I think both numbers are important on this team...

The #7 should stay with the cornerbacks. With that being said, I would give it to Mills.

#7 has no real tradition, and IMO it is silly to debate.

Why not let Avery Johnson have it if he wants it?

Agree that it should not be a tradition. It cheapens 18

Its the fact that some of the greatest players ever at LSU has worn #7. 18 symbolizes the hard worker, underdog player...

Maybe Rashard Robinson is dreaming of wearing #7. Maybe he's hoping to be a playmaker and make it to the NFL, like his friend PP7. Tradition has to start somewhere and PP7 initiated a new one. Dbu and the #7 may be something the recruits and current db's want to protect.

There is nothing special about the #7 jersey now. It was supposed to be a defensive playmaker/leader, but any credibility it may have garnered left with TM7.

Except other great Tigers have worn it with very little contiguity. If Tyrann had not changed his number to emulate Peterson, then we are not having this discussion.

Also, there is already a well known tradition with #18. There doesn't need to be a tradition for each number. It would be like asking who gets 99 after Sam and 46 after Minter. At some point it kind of cheapens the honor of what the team has with 18.
