We had a cow that was blind in one eye. She could clear a barbed wire fence with ease. We were penning the cows and she was going to the stockyard. Jumped three fences. Dad got the 30-30 out. We could not find her before it got dark. Next morning she had wandered up with the rest of the cows that were penned up in a big arena. All we had to do was shut the gate.
If she would not have come in by herself she would have been a 30-30 target

For you small acreage high fence people, if you want to shoot a big bull I will put a tree stand in the pasture so you will feel like you did something.

Individua preference. You will not get concensus on this board on this subject brother. Go blast one if you want but it is not a guarantee in my opinion - unless it is more of a deer farm.

I'm not gonna argue with you, but you sure werent afraid to derail another thread rallying support against me were you? No way I could be proud of it. I'd do it for free though if somebody just needed help thinning the herd out or something just like I'd shoot a cow that can't be caught.

If I owned less than couple hundred acres and could afford it, wound not do it, cause all I'd feel like I was doing was rubbing my own pecker.
