need some help cooking some green onion sausage (Posted on 11/7/12 at 5:45 pm)
mom gave me some green onion sausage to cook, but we dont have a grill. is there any way i can cook this to have it be similar to a grill like finish? with an even crispy outside? instead of a browned one side of it. trying to eventually cut them in half and make sandwiches can it be done in the oven? TIA

A regular skillet or dutch oven will work, just add a few tblsp of oil and cook on a low heat(so the insides is done) Then you can brown it at a higher temp at the end

Heat it up in a water bath til the water is just at a boil for 6 minutes, Then drain the pot and sear the exterior of the sausage til the casing has caramelized just a bit.
