Boiling Shrimp Count Size?

Going to have a shrimp boil next weekend.
Need advice on shrimp size(count) and how much per person.
I will also have corn,potaties,etc.

I like 16-20 head on and you'll have some leftover @ 2 lbs a person

If you are doing all the sides. rule of thumb is 1lb a person.

Yep. I don't like going larger than 16 count. 16-25 is usually a good mix IMO. Too big and they just don't have the time to soak up seasoning.

3 lbs and a salad is a regular meal for us at home for ~$20.

Like others have said 16/20 is a great all around size to cook. I actually prefer 10/15's and my usual boiling sizes are 10/15's,16/20's, or 21/25's. I usually don't like to go smaller than those three sizes because they become a little harder to peel and have less meat for the peeling.
