Yes Holtz will pick Bama
Yes Lou Holtz will spit on the inside of your TV screen
Yes iESPN hates LSU (and the Saints)

It don't matter I think LSU find a way to have a great game, The D will close McCarron down and I will bang my wife in a drunken stupor wearing a mike the tiger replica head!

reminds me of 2010 after we barely beat tenn for crying out loud and the entire country picked bama to beat lsu at lsu.

hmm.. how about just going with the trend. lsu has beat bama 2 straight years and host them at home with one of the best d lines ever. i'm not sure you'd be an idiot to pick LSU.. i will say i was much more confident heading into this season had LSU not had so many starters inelible and injured. i still like LSU chance to win as good.

lsu will shut down bama's run like they have always. alabama tackles and guards struggle mightily against elite speed rushers. the only thing that concerns me is bama is so efficient in scoring touch downs if given the opportunity and lsu not so much. but make no mistake this d line will keep LSU in every game.

Holtz coached at Arkansas from '77 to '83 in the Southwest Conference days. At Notre Dame from '86 to '96 he went 100-30-2 and won the '88 National Ship. Returned to the South at USCe '99 to'04 and had USCe return to a measure of respectability. Has had programs sanctioned with probation and loss of scholarships.

Holtz is a master motivational speaker and I think the reason his legacy is most closely tied with ND is b/c he looks like their mascot. Used to think Holtz disliked the SEC as by his stadards he'd failed at USCe, but now I think it's part of the ESPN schtick to generate controversy. Like it or not, he does have some insightful commentary.

Mark May keeps Holtz in line and the most entertaining part of College Game Day for me is to see Mark May tear Holtz a new one.

I don't think Holtz hates LSU any more than say UT or Georgia. It's all part of the job to be both entertaining and controversial. Hell, got me to spend a few minutes pontificating on him. All in all, I think he's good in the assingment ESPN has given him. His opinions are worth exactly what you've paid for them.

He'll pick Bama tomorrow, matters not a whit to the games outcome.

How soon people forget that he was one of the few to pick us to beat Bama in last years regular season game.

Shocking lack of respect at UW halftime. Spittin Lou and May, with the smuggest looks ever, appeared to give us ZERO chance to win. Did not say a single positive thing about LSU that I recall.

It doesn't matter. There are people on here that constantly complain that everyone hates us and no one ever gives us a chance, it's fricking annoying
