Ive been wondering why LSU hasnt done this for quite a while. Worked well against OSU in 07 title game.

We had a TE who could catch in that game.

We have a TE that can catch, Nic Jacobs. He could be very effective in the middle of the field if they would implement that into their game plan. All he would have to do is find the soft spot between the LB's and the safety.

This is key to helping the run game with safeties crowding LOS.

I have been saying all week that I hope they get Clement involved more this week. It's something that no one has seen from us this year.

If an SEC quarterback can throw and an SEC tight end can catch, then yes, it should work.

He'll catch it if they throw it to him. (Or any of the other TE's)

Where is Dickson? Must look really bad in practice to be a total non-factor by now.

Is the putrid TE situation sub-par coaching, talent or a combination of both.

I said in an earleir post this week that the BAMA TE's were going have a big game and I think they will. Saban is going to run those TE's over the middle against our LB's and have success, especially in the second half when our defense will start to get mentally and physically fatigued from being on the field too long. BTW, I also expect Lacy and Company to break a few when the defensive lethargy sets in.

Prove me wrong Tigers!

You don't need to be proven wrong. Tigers don't care about your negative post

I've been thinking the same thing! It seemed like we got our TE's and RB's going with little sit down routes at the beginning of the UF game, and then got away from it as the game cont. I think we can have some success with this, and hopefully Mett can identify the zone blitz saban will run.

I think it would give our offense a well needed boost , getting the TE's receiving the ball.
