How to get rid of mice???

For about the past 2 weeks I've had a mouse problem.
Bought D-con bait/poison and mouse traps... those damn tiny little things keep getting in my pantry and tearing into my boxed or bagged foods.
Any suggestions?

Don't use poison in your house. It will not end well. Glue traps and snap traps with peanut butter work well.

The sticky pad things work pretty good. And it's fun to take the boys Red Rider and execute the little squealing bastads.

Sticky glue traps are the tits. Add a little peanut butter to the middle and stick them along the walls where you have seen them.

Close your pantry and get rid of what attracts them--food. i.e. clean your shite up!

I use a pair of needle nose pliers and compress the spinal cord until death, which is usually quick.

One answer: Cat
Only reason for the cat species
Other option is latting a rat snake roam your house, but that often makes guests and or females a little uncomfortable.

This!
Yeah, do not use poison, they will eat it, then get in the walls and die and stink for a while.

The mice will still be alive on the sticky trap, your wife/GF will go ape shite about it being cruel but those things work extremely well…

Put all your boxed stuff in tupperware type bins. I use all 3 bait, glue and traps in the camp but its raised so I've been lucky one hasn't died in the walls yet. They like to get in the insulation in your oven so I'd check there, otherwise you'll start smelling rat piss when you heat oven.
