Any other time and I'd choose watching a live-stage presentation of 2 girls 1 cup over watching a USC game, much less hoping for them to win.

But this year I think we all need to support the Trojans a little bit.

look at the bright side, by pulling for usc it means that they've been so bad this season that they have literally zero chance of making the title game. it's really a win win situation. even if they lose both games, it'll mean the fricking pre-season ap number one team lost FOUR games, with a chance to lose five in their bowl game. sportswriters are a fricking joke...

They've already got their 2 losses, so I guess it's ok to pull for them as long as it helps us

I cannot pull for Lane Kiffin and I wouldn't care if USC ever wins another game.

If Bama wins out all this is meaningless as they will kill any of the other undefeated teams.

Not a foregone conclusion at all. Bama doesn't like defending Oregon-esque offenses. Especially now that Oregon's got some bigger boys in the trenches and can play a little defense too. Saban's also come out against the fast pace that Oregon brings to the table, as it would not give him time to sub out his fatties. I think Oregon has a damned fine chance of beating Bama in the MNC. Except that USC is going to remove Oregon from the equation on Saturday.

I think that Bama's best shot at winning another MNC is against Notre Dame or Kansas State.

Now, it's not a foregone conclusion that Bama will beat LSU on Saturday either, and for the record I hope LSU wins, simply because I am surrounded by Bammers fapping themselves silly in the afterglow of beating Moo State.

If Alabama goes to the NC, I'm rooting against them whoever their opponent is. I also rooted for Texas and Utah against them. Doesn't bother me.....

Well if LSU wins, then it'll be difficult for the SEC to make it to the BCSNCG. Oregon and Kansas State were supposed to play this season and last, but Kansas State apparently refused to work with Oregon to reschedule the games after Oregon chose LSU. Would we care to see a BCSNCG between Oregon, Kansas State, and/or Notre Dame? I know I wouldn't, but I'd still watch it.

This. All day, all week, all year, for the rest of my life. I pull for other teams in SEC during the bowl games, not Gumps.
