They have made LSU a 10 1/2 point underdog, at home. As far as motivation goes, this can be added to the list of intangibles, which are already in LSU's favor. Intangibles alone won't be enough to win Saturday night but as far as the intangibles go, it probably couldn't get any better.

You really believe that?

Man, it is amazing what you can convince yourself to believe if you want to bad enough.

After watching LSU's offense this year. I'm suprised it isn't more than 10 1/2...

In 2010 the line opened with Bama a 7 point favorite and closed with bama a 6 point favorite. This time all the early money is on bama.

We always spot 7 for night games at home. Therotically the line is 17 if this game was at a neutral site. frick

No they didn't. They made LSU a 7 or 7 1/2 pt underdog. The bettors made LSU a 10 1/2 pt underdog.

The line OPEN at -7 shot up immediately to 8 then all the way up to -10.5

The LSU money is starting to ROLL in as the line has now move back down to -9.5 at most books.

7 of those points or based on coaching, taking away at least 7 points because Miles will stay conservative and fall behind by 7-14 points early like he did at A&M. Won't come from behind against Bama. R. Sheppard and J. Hill will start game on sideline with S. Ware running up middle for negative yardage on first drive. I am pretty sure my crystal ball is accurate.

You're right. It would start higher if we were playing in Tuscaloosa. But I think then it would be the opposite and drop down to 10 1/2.

If the Tiger players need to look at the point spread as any type of motivation, then the game is already over.

There's big money being put down on bama. This drives the line up.

Thanks man, now I don't have to go to the game and can go to a Tupperware Party with my ex-wife instead.

You seem like a miserable person to watch the game with.

At least I won't one those guys running around after the game(assuming we lose by 10, per the bookies) and saying "I don't understand why we lost to Alabama, Les Miles is a great coach, high winning percentage, why couldn't we move the ball, why couldn't we cross midfield" blah, blah, blah, it all comes down to coaching and Alabama has a 10 point advantage.
