The vegas line movement is setting up really nice for LSU.

The general public is pouring money onto bama and the opening 7pt into 10 1/2 now. The usual outcome from such lopsided betting by the small fish is to do the opposite. LSU is in good shape to win.

I don't see how you think LSU is in a good shape to win this game based on this year's play, regardless of what Vegas does.

I hope I am dead wrong though.

The general public didn't move that line, Billy Walters knows a sure thing when he sees one

Bama has pretty much covered every spread the oddsmakers have put up. I can't imagine Bama will have much trouble beating LSU by 10 or so.

YOu are wrong. Bama is 5-3 vs the spread this year. Didnt cover WKY, florida atl, and Ole Miss. I couldnt resist and took LSU plus 10. No matter the difference in these teams it is always close.

He may be on to something here:

Exhibit A : Oklahoma opened a 7 pt favorite over Notre Dame this past weekend, line got driven up to 12.5, ND won outright.

Would love to see that scenario here

Lines move because of sharps(pros) not squares(public). Doesn't matter how lopsided the money is.

Two things:

1.) Was your Mom ever "pretty much" pregnant with you?
2.) What are the Mega Millions numbers, Nostradamus?

Ole Miss was a better game than expected, the other two Alabama just called off the dogs earlier than needed if they were going to cover lines in the 40s. Everybody thought that Alabama -24 last week was absurd and everybody thought taking State was such easy money, and we see how that turned out.

Only a lot of money, not small fish, moves lines that much.

LSU can win this game at night in TS, but it certainly has absolutely nothing to do with the movement of the betting the line

Close , but no! Lines move when money is lopsided, regardless if it is public/sharp!

So you think since the entire betting nation thinks Bama will steamroll us, that is an indication that LSU will win?

John Anthony says to bet LSU and then when you do you'll call on Monday saying, "Thank you sir, may I have another..."
