Besides the Defense, what have you seen from LSU that gives you hope..

To beat Bama? I am searching for something that gets me off of the fence about this game. I think the defense is great, and can keep us in the game, but I don't think it will be enough. The offense has not shown my anything. Alot of people keep bringing up the SC and the A&M game. Outside of JHill's long runs, we didn't do anything special or nothing stuck out as something we could expose Bama with. Help me here.

Kadron mother fricking Boone. Thank you and good day.

We have Les Miles on our sidelines and we are playing in Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night. Enough hope and enough said.

La'El Collins can run block successfully against anyone.

the ability to run outside with Ford and Hill. Hill runs off tackle well as well. I also like our young offensive lineman working hard.

My sarcasm filter picked this up.

Don't guess you'll get many things other than Coach Chavis' defense to hang your hope on - based on what our offense has been producing against SEC opponents this year.

We need Mett to have the best game of his career. He has to show us something we haven't seen yet. Can he do it? I don't know, but

I have to admit, the line has seemed to play better lately. I hope they can handle Bama's d-line.

Defense is all I got man...sorry.

Jeremy Hill + RB depth - Its gonna be a physical game, fresh legs will be huge in the 4Q
The Les Miles wildcard (could work against us though)
Coming off of a bye week
And of course, Saturday Night in Death Valley

I don't remember much about the last time leading up to the last game in TS vs Alabama. I know they were coming off their championship. But shite we played well in all aspects in that game as much as I can rememeber. I hope that they can tap into that. I just think Bama is leaps and bounds better than everyone else this year. They make shite look easy

I guess that if a person believes this is possible ... then that is a cause for hope.
You'd have to believe the headline:
"After struggling against many weak and inferior opponents, Mettenberger has game of a lifetime vs. Bama defense."
But ... I guess there's some hope there. He doesn't have to be Joe Montana ... he only really needs to be Trent Dilfer.

The 2008 Bama v. LSU game in Tiger Stadium. The disparity between the two teams was far greater than this year and it took some questionable calls and OT for Bama to win the game.
Outside of 1/9/12, this game has been very competitive every time they have faced off since Saban arrived at Bama.
I think the players have a mutual respect for each other...and both teams have the elite of college footbball on the sidelines. Big games bring out big plays from the best players.
I think Bama is the rightful favorite, but if LSU is clicking...like it did in the Washington game for instance, I see no reason why LSU cannot win the game.

A desire to win, these kids do not give up, and the line has improved since the UF game.

I wish I could say Defense & Special Teams. But unfortunately, just Defense. Offense forget about it.
Oh, BAMA could have an off night but I doubt it.

Ford's speed to the edge is amazing.
Jeremy Hill's acceleration is better than I thought.
Kadron Boone's big time playmaking.
Russell Shepard pages in the Secret Playbook.
