No you should wake the frick up. No QB ever restructures his contract after one year, well at least not to my knowledge.

Zero.

Drew's agent told to leave NO money on the table, and Drew listened.

Drew's life is set and his career in NOLA has peaked. He's on the glidepath to easy living now.

That's 8 posts per day. Should I really quit? Is 8 posts in 24 hours really so unreasonable?

Drew's all about setting records and being the first to do this or that. Since other QBs have already restructured their contracts in the past to help their team, don't expect Drew to do it. There is nothing in it for him.

Roethlisberger has agreed to restructure his $102 million contract to help the Steelers get under the salary

Several high-profile quarterbacks have taken less money or restructured deals to help their franchises, including Tom Brady of the New England Patriots and, most recently, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts

don't know if happened the next season ...but it happened

Drew was drastically underpaid for about 3 years and kept his mouth shut. And those QBs taking "paycuts" (like Brady) were just converting base salary to a signing bonus and spreading the cap hit from one year over multiple seasons. Seriously, that was probably the dumbest post I've ever seen on this forum, and there are quite a few retards on here as of late.

WOW REALLY!?!?!

quote:

Roethlisberger, who signed an eight-year, $102 million contract in March 2008, will not have the amount or the length of his deal altered, said his agent, Ryan Tollner. But it was restructured to create more cap space for the Steelers in 2011 and future seasons.

I mean he might take less next year but more guaranteed. He earned his paycheck I doubt he takes less especially after holding out.

Roethlisberger's a much better person than Drew Brees.

wow. I fricking hate this place when ignorant posters flood this board on a gameday loss. Brees is a top 3 quarterback in the league I just can't even begin to understand how people are blaming this loss on him.
