To me this feels ( and looks) much more like 1/9

What has changed with the LSU offense in terms of efficiency or production? It comes down to a non-existent passing game, this time with an over-hyped signal caller and sub-par receivers. Not sure if the line is better or worse.

There is no reason to believe that Saban is going to leave his safeties in coverage unless and until LSU passes down field successfully. LSU will see 8 and 9 defenders in the box all day until an open receiver catches one behind the secondary.

If this plays out, it will come down to some breaks, the defense and so-called special teams. Right now, things do not look good for Tiger Nation.

We just need to strike early like Florida did to them last year. First play drop back and heave one down the sideline for a td

I agree. Don't really see any reason to be optimistic.

Whats new? The sun rose this morning and White Tiger started another shitty negative thread about how the LSU program is in shambles.

O-line will struggle against bamas D and not allow mett much time in the pocket... idk how we are expected to come out blazing this game( against the best team in the country) when we could barely protect him against other teams....

im a realist.... bama D will destroy our O-line... simple as that... i can see mett being rushed on his progressions bc the pocket will collapse faster this game than it has all season...causing forced throws leading to turnovers...

31-6..... Bad Guys

Nothing. Miles doesn't think that we have an offensive problem. He has said that himself.

We're playing Michigan-style ball, which is what he likes to do. So far it's worked for the most part, but it's agonizing to watch us struggle so mightily just to move the ball. Then our coaches go brain dead when we reach the red zone.

It's not likely that we'll beat Bama next weekend. We will probably even struggle to beat Moo State and Arky, maybe Ole Miss too. We'll finish 10-2 or 9-3 and go to the Cotton Bowl and plenty of people will be satisfied with that, based on the shite we've had happen to us.

Now, if August 31st rolls around and we see the same garbage offense against TCU in Dallas, then I will start to get very worried about the future of our program under Miles. At some point the QB play has to get better....it can't get much worse, and if we go yet another season with poor QB play, it will become painfully obvious to most that we have a coaching problem and not a talent problem.

first of all, Bama doesn’t need to stack the box to stop the run.
