I have wanted to watch this for some time. The story intrigued me. It was a little campy at times and a couple of episodes were predictable, but I have enjoyed it so far.
What are your thoughts?
Try to avoid spoilers, but I'm not gonna flip a lid if one is posted.
ETA: Changed from 2 to 7 because this is when most of you said it gets good.

I put up with the campy-ness until.. season 4 or 5.. then something happened (wont say what) and I just stopped watching. Have never had a desire to go back.

great series. it kinda got slow around season 4 and 5 but it picked back up in season 6 and 7

I did the exact same thing. If you're a big DC Comics fan, you'll really enjoy the last two seasons.

Pretty much agree with what everyone else has said. Each season has 2 or 3 episodes that are just not good, but all of Season 9 and 10 were great.

Theme of season 2. Clark warns Lana of danger, Lana tells Clark to shove it, Lana gets in trouble, Clark saves Lana. Repeat every episode.

Seasons 1-5 are great. Kinda dips in seasons 6 and part of 7. Then gets back on track.
If not for Erica Durance's insane hotness, it might not have made it to the finish line.

She was probably the closest to the comics version. Driven and talented, with a penchant for trouble.
Oh, and insanely hot also.
