No..he's an outstanding player who had a off game. A&M is outstanding on offense. He played better as the game wore on.

Good lord, even a self-proclaimed sunshine pumper can't make a comment.

He had some slips trying to stop and cover. He'll be alright.

They were in a totally different game plan for A&M and I think I threw him off. But both Jalens looked good and the young safeties and LBs played great

Ps Debo is fast as hell

I just felt he struggled with some of their larger receivers and they were really able to open up the middle of the field. Even on the Minter pick, the guy was wide open due to Simon.

pump the brakes hoss.

to the op, I am concerned. anyone who has watched our D closely realizes he is the weak link on the starting 11.

having said that, I would rather have him than most corners in CFB

He is no where near what he was with Mo on the other side and without HB7 and RB13 complimenting the defensive backfield.

He gets smoked a lot and seems to be out of position more than in position.

He is a surprise in the wrong way this year.

Mills, however, is killing it!

We have nobody in our secondary that can hold Amari Cooper's jock. Our only hope is to get pressure on McCarron.

He does get beat on those comeback routes a lot...
It's like he's so worried about getting beat deep he just lets guys turn around and catch the ball

I must have missed that because I didn't think they were in a zone that play. He appeared to get pushed off the receiver and couldn't recover.

We are spoiled when a performance like Simon had yesterday (including a huge interception) is looked upon as an off day.

DBs give up catches. It happens.

Very concerned with Simon, and it wasnt just yesterday. Hes struggled alot this year. It seems that whenever they throw his way, his back is always turned to the QB and hes playing catch up on the WR. He had a good INT, but hes not a blanket cover guy. Hes good on deep balls because of his size and range, but they were running hitches, slants, and comebacks at him and he was getting off balanced and slipping. I honestly think our best cover DBs go: Mills, Collins, and then Simon. Also was very impressed with Micah Eugene yesterday. Was doing great covering his WR, and he was the guy that was in to help contain Manziel. Our young DBs are having as big an impact as our veteran DBs. Mills, Collins, Eugene, and Martin are making as many or more plays than Simon, Reid, and Loston. The future of our DBs is glowing very bright.
