I stayed away from the board until this morning... and I'm surprised by how many people are in panic mode.

This was a well played football game and the aggies are the good football team. We didn't turn the ball over... forced them to turn it over 4 times, and ran the ball. LSU football. Defense played lights out. I don't understand the fallout today.

Is it just that the tigers don't look flawless? Is it still saban envy? Why do we have to look like world beaters every game?

People don't like ugly wins. That's all they are and people hate it.

I agree with you. My biggest issue is the amount of penalties we continue to amass.

That first quarter was about as ugly as it can get for both sides of the ball

People are stupid as hell. So many are delusional, to the point where I'am actually sure if they are watching the games and see what the problems really are.

Yep. To be honest, without the late game personal fouls we likely win the game by 12 and everyone feels a lot better.

agree. Ugly win. But a win on the road vs a Top 20 team. I'll take it!

Penalties are really the only head scratcher now.

Good game plan and coaching no doubt, but we have problems scoring in the red zone and moving the ball through the air period. Miles has to deal with what he has and as much as he can frustrate me because he is unconventional he has done a brilliant job with it.

You mean cause we couldn't score?

Isn't that part of the game? You figure it out and make adjustments...

Their defense was playing us tough in the first... couldn't keep up past first quarter though. Did you watch Tennessee D play BAMA hard last night in the first?

We are goin into the biggest game of the season that has been marked for 10 months now and this team is still not playing up to it's potential. This is the frustrating part.

I thought the defense played lights out after the first quarter yesterday. I also realize that 97 passing yards is not going to beat Bama. Hopefully they figure something out in the off week.

I re-watched the second half last night.

You are correct about the absurd amount of negativity.
The video game era people think the games should be easy and effortless. The SEC has dominated the BCS for years for a reason...it is a tough conference. Every win should be appreciated and savored.

Improvement is important to me. I saw some improvement on offense.

Let Mett get some timing down on the deep ball, and Bama has a LONG NIGHT IN DEATH VALLEY.

Maybe not but 91 yards passing beat them last year in their stadium.

I like ugly wins. Would take an ugly win over a pretty loss every time.

Problem is, at some point this ugly football will cost us a big game. We saw it at Florida and will probably see it again in 2 weeks.

Don't forget the wind factor last night for Mett... and Les has won 2 straight against Bama in regular season. We got this.

i think the viewpoints are skewed towards terrible since we came out of the gate asleep and fell behind 12-0 early. personally, i'll take a win, especially a road conference win, any way i can get it.

Yes, lsu won ugly again and a win is a win. My complaints are simple and if addressed this is a bcs team. If not addressed then we have the chance to lose some close games coming up.

1. Every team is loading the box with 9 men, daring us to throw it all around and the passing game can't consistently do it.

2. To many penalties that keep the other team in the game and extend their drives.

3. Mettenbergers footwork sucks and a 6' 5" qb should not have so many passes batted down at the line. He lacks some vision and feel for game speed.

If those three get better then sky's the limit. If not we could end up with another season of thinking what if.

Because the WRs can't get separation and th OL doesn't give Mett time. I'm not sure what's so hard to see this. LSU can only line up 2 WRs and that's the only options Mett has because they're in max protect.

Without WRs that can get separation/open, this is what were going to see.

I just wish they'd put 3-4 WRs on the field at times.

Also, not having a TE is killing this passing team. Desean Smith is going to get every opportunity next year to get on the field.
