One person was killed after an 18-wheeler crashed at the foot of the Atchafalya Basin Bridge at Henderson on Thursday night, prompting the closure of Interstate 10 westbound, State Police said.
State Trooper First Class Stephen Hammons said an 18-wheeler traveling east crossed the median and struck another 18-wheeler traveling west.

On 1150 am they said I-10 could be closed for most of the day, whatever that means. If y'all are leaving town, I'd avoid I-10, however the hell you do that.

There seems to be a wreck involving these frickers on either I-10 or I-12 on a daily basis.
