Yeah, I'm going, but haven't decided between 7:00 at the Rave or 7:30 at Perkins Rowe.

I think it plays tomorrow night at Perkins Rowe only

Saw it this evening. Very good show. Jason doesn't play the drums quite like his daddy but he's good enough.

I think the best moments were No Quarter, Nobody's Fault But Mine, and Rock 'n Roll (especially the end of it). You can tell Plant became more comfortable as the show went on. And Jones is such an important element of that band.

Thought it was awesome.

Plant sounded great, JPJ really impressed me, and I was surprised at how well Jason played.

And Jimmy Page is un-freakin'-believable. He was 63 when they played that concert and he just tore it up. I wonder if he wakes up in the morning and thinks "Holy crap, I'm Jimmy Page"

Looks like it is playing at Perkins Rowe tonight if anyone missed it and wanted to see it on the big screen. It will be released next month on video for home viewing

Is Plant the best Rock front man of all time? When you think about mainstream music before Zepplin...then look at it during and after their run, I think you can argue that if he is not the best front man, he is certainly the most influential front man in rock history.

I went to England in 1977 not long after LZ's concert in BR. I spent half my time in London keeping an eye out for Jimmy Page and bought the "Presence" album in Selfridges Department Store. I would love to meet JP. Kudos to you, sir!

I'd agree with this, but I'd say he shares that title with Freddie Mercury.

I think it was only in limited release, just 2 nights in Baton Rouge. Not sure if it's still playing in New Orleans or not.

You can find the theaters here:

Looks like it was only the 17th & 18th, nationwide.
Glad I was able to catch it once. The DVD/Blu-ray/CD comes out in Nov.

Do they need money, or are they 'antsy'?

no talk of reunion - this was filed in '07. I doubt they need money.

And I'd agree with you. Those 2 stand out. Who else is up there? Maybe Mick? Jimmie? Dylan? Jerry? Elvis?... OK, I'm just babbling now.
