Rewatching the game ...

1) Didn't realize how close Reid was to going down on his knee after his int ... that was AWESOME

2) Sam reminded me of Glenn Dorsey after his sack of Shaw ... the Dorasaurus!

3) Just caught Miles telling the ref "bullcrap" after the flag on Loston late in the 4th

I love rewatching a good game that we win .. it's much easier the 2nd time around!!!

You can tell these guys love playing for Les. After all the big plays you would see Les pointing at the players almost like saying "that's you making plays!" and his body language was saying frick yeah. These guys had to feed off of that.

I love being AT the games BUT I love watching on tv ... can see so much more.

It's a shame that I like football as much as I do ... females shouldn't like it this much!!!

That Loston penalty was ridiculous. How can you penalize a player for a hit that never even occurred? Are the referees clairvoyant? Are they throwing flags for subjective intent now? What's next, flags for attempted holding or attempted facemask?

"Sure, you didn't ACTUALLY hold him, but you meant to. I saw it in your eyes."

The312, were you at the game? Not being ugly.. just that Herbstreit seemed to think that it was "leading with the helmet" as the reason for the flag. "Intent" ... but I agree ... bs call. Not that I know much.

The refs in that game were atrocious.

I was mocking Herbstreit's justification. Whether or not Loston "intended" to initiate contact with his helmet, he never actually did so, as far as I could tell. It's like flagging an o-lineman for reaching out to hold a defender, but grasping empty air instead. He "intended" to hold. Strikes me as crazy.

Sorry ... I was just trying relay what was said. I agree ... it was crazy!

And for CRAZY, was Ware horsecollared or was it his hair that they grabbed??? Just for the sake of discussion. AND furthermore, how about the hit that I personally thought was late (again, I don't know shite) ... forgot if it was late 3rd or 4th qtr but even Mussberger said there should have been /could have been a flag.

eta: It could have been worse ... RITTER could have been on the crew. YIKES!

i agree that the call was weak, but loston should have never put himself in that position. the ball was clearly uncatchable so why even put yourself in the position to let the official make that call? at that point in the game you have to be smarter than that.

Apologies if someone brought this up...I haven't read about it in any other post.

What was the difference in the hit Loston "intended" and the intent of the hit at 7:13 left in the third quarter on Odell by DJ Swearinger?

I know some are chalking the Loston call up as a make-up call, but the hits do still look similar to me nonetheless.

Thoughts?

To be fair, Loston didn't whiff he hit him in the shoulder with the crown of his helmet.

4) Watching the OBC twitching on the sidelines like he was being electrocuted.

Volt, thanks ... when we're not at away games, I like to listen to my headphones and watch. Some games I get so freaking nervous that I get TONS of housework done as I can't sit still! And it's hard to hide my emotions so my family knows "something" is coming ... and slamming my headphones a la Spurrier is a dead give away that it's not good!

And Mac, sorry ... no pics! 43, 5'4-5, 123# ... and happily married with 3 kids. AND I'm an internet retard and don't know how!

3 feet out of bounds a while after the ball had passed. Some of us need to invest in new TVs.

Still a BS call, but it's due likely to the fact that Loston consistantly leads with his helmet trying to decleat on every tackle.
