Need a suggestion for a Tues. No holds barred. I want to hit up Galatoires which is my favorite, but everyone acts like its gone downhill. I was thinking either that, Clancy's, or August. What say you all?

Either would be well above Galatoires in terms of food.

I would suggest August.

I rarely make it there for dinner as lunch is more convenient, but Herbsaint has really been excellent lately. Also, Coquette, La Petite Grocery, Patois, should be in your rotation.

Checked out August's menu cause I wanted to see the selection. I'm sorry but $35+ for an entree is ridiculous.

For a little less price, but still good food, Pelican Club and Muriels does a good job in the quarter.

I have been there and it was good but it has been a while.

Idk you prolly can't go wrong. I went to Clancy's once and it was great too.

Mike's on the Avenue is awesome and less spendy than August, Commander's Palace etc.
