I never could figure out why anyone cares about the halftime show at the super bowl. Possibly because I do not like the music usually played but primarily because we are supposed to be watching football, not music. I use halftime as a chance to stock up on snacks for the second half.

I truly don't remember the last halftime show I watched. Jazz & Dixieland musician, Pete Fountain was the halftime entertainment in 1990 when I went to the SB in New Orleans.

This is actually a good choice. She hasn't had any new material really, but she is at least up beat and not a snore fest like the last few performances. If true I can get behind this.

I think the last great Halftime show was Prince.
The Who were alright.
I think it's become "cool" to bash on the Super Bowl halftime show no matter how it turns out. I don't believe they are the train wreck everyone would have you believe.

And what I'm getting tired of these Pop/R&B artists who come on and dance while lip-syncing to their songs. That's all Beyonce is going to do.
